The MBC Couples tournament was held at Lake Pleasant and had total of 15 teams participating. The team of Mike and Debbie Nugent came in with a weight of 10.96 lbs and a kicker fish weighing 4.80 lbs (First Big Fish) to take first place and received checks totaling $1067. Coming in second place was the team of Steve Foutch & Lisa Romero with a total weight of 8.11 lbs and received checks totaling $411. And to round the top three, was the team of Mike & Lanae Richter with a weight of 7.72 lbs and they received checks totaling $240.

Coming in second place was the team of John Bazewicz & Andrew Bazewicz with a total weight of 14.09 lbs which included the First Big fish of the tournament (8.65 lbs) netting them a total of $ 1016. And to round out the top three was the team of Neil Burns & Tim Burns with a total weight of 10.80 lbs which included the Third Big fish of the tournament (4.91 lbs) netting them a total of $ 556.
