What a morning it was for the first Seniors tournament of 2009...The day started with heavy fog which suspended the start of the tournament for 2 hours. We had 85 teams with the team of Dick Clark and Dean Kreuzer coming in first place with a weight of 16.59 lbs with the Big fish of the tournament (6.80 lbs) which helped them to land checks totaling $3,390. Coming in second place was the team of Tom Kilduff and Jess Holt with a total weight of 12.86 lbs and netting them a total of $ 1,970. And to round out the top three was the team of Matt Shura and Mike Brillhart with a total weight of 12.37 lbs and netting them a total of $ 1,465.

The team of Roy Hawk and Mark White came in with a weight of 23.20 lbs with a kicker of 9.36 lbs (First Big Fish) netting them a total of $ 4,494. Coming second was the team of Jim Everett and Tommy Jonovich with a weight of 13.56 lbs netting them a total of $ 1,649. And to round out the top three, the team of Tony Marsh and John Hollis came in with a limit of 12.39 lbs and they received checks totaling $1,205.

The MBC Couples tournament was held at Roosevelt Lake and had total of 25 teams participating. The team of Jim and Roxanne Everett came in with a weight of 10.53 lbs to take first place and checks totaling $1,094. Coming in second place was the team of Josh Bertrand and Whitney Cummins with a total weight of 9.02 lbs and received checks totaling $614. And to round the top three, the team of Zack and Alex Holwerda with a weight of 8.52 lbs and received checks totaling $320.
